Shuazi ("we", "our", or "us") is a Chinese flashcard app for learning HSK vocabulary. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights.
Information We Collect
When you sign in with Google, we receive the following from your Google account:
- Name and email address
- Profile picture
- A unique identifier to link your account
We also store the learning progress you generate within the app (known cards, review cards, HSK levels studied).
If you purchase a premium plan, payment is processed by Stripe. We do not store your card details — Stripe handles all payment data securely.
How We Use Your Information
- To authenticate you and keep your session active.
- To sync your learning progress across devices.
- To manage your subscription status (free or premium).
We do not sell your personal data. We do not use it for advertising.
Third-Party Services
- Supabase — database and authentication infrastructure.
- Google OAuth — sign-in provider.
- Stripe — payment processing.
Each of these services has its own privacy policy and processes data under their respective terms.
Data Retention
Your account and progress data are stored as long as your account is active. You may delete your account at any time from within the app, or request deletion by contacting us.
Your Rights

Security
We use industry-standard security measures including encrypted connections (HTTPS) and access controls provided by Supabase.
Changes to This Policy
